How we got started
In 2019, my grandfather fell and broke his hip while working on his farm, and we were told that he had to undergo surgery at age 97. After a few months, he started experiencing knee pain due to arthritis, which made it impossible for him to walk. Given that he now required 24/7 care and we all worked full-time jobs, providing this level of support was impossible!
We made the decision to place him in a nursing home. However, due to a lack of quality in the meals and difficulties in meeting doctor appointments, we found the care at these facilities insufficient. This motivated us to create a more meaningful elderly care assisted living experience. We acquired a basic school that was in disrepair and completed major renovations in December 2019.
Our first resident was my grandfather, and over the next few months of advertising, we attracted more interested clients. We have the capacity to house 22 residents with options for private, semi-shared, and shared rooms.
